In the 12th minute Raymond Osoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Fúria Futebol Clube defense, Raymond Osoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Porto. The Fúria Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Porto should have stopped the shot. Júlio Porto was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Dominic Ramjohn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 37th minute, Segundo Tavio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júlio Porto. The goal made the score 4-0. Fúria Futebol Clube's Franklin Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Hafiz Nusri came free, but Júlio Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Valdir de Senna. Cachorrada made a substitution. Githinji Rop replaced Lúcio Salles. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
