In the 28th minute Clemente Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair McCormick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Donato Guerra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wágner Vergílio. The goal made the score 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. Fiori Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The Taquaral Campineiro fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Taquaral Campineiro's Geraldo de Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 69th minute Matheus Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Geraldo de Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taquaral Campineiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 92 minutes into the match, United 206 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Donato Guerra came free, but Wágner Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of United 206 F.C. booed when Taquaral Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Taquaral Campineiro had won after a very even match.
