Ronaldão Goiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jakob Heinicke having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, United 206 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Toto Arebam came free, but Wágner Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Independência Futebol's Toto Arebam slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wágner Vergílio. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. After some careless play in the United 206 F.C. defense, Astor Urtun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wágner Vergílio. The United 206 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wágner Vergílio should have stopped the shot. Toto Arebam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wágner Vergílio came out and tried to block the shot, but Toto Arebam slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 24th minute. Toto Arebam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wágner Vergílio having to make a save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind United 206 F.C.'s goalkeeper Wágner Vergílio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Toto Arebam recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wágner Vergílio. Toto Arebam showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Wágner Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Arebam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, United 206 F.C.'s goalkeeper Wágner Vergílio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Urtun. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Amauri dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amauri dos Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th minute, Amauri dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Independência Futebol were the better team. Independência Futebol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
