The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Vila Ema Ravens's Türker Sonalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Roldanillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Vila Ema Ravens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Türker Sonalp to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno de Andrade in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráuzio Souza saved Vila Ema Ravens from getting behind. Nuno de Andrade scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráuzio Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noroeste Paulista's Nuno de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dráuzio Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Vila Ema Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno de Andrade came free, but Dráuzio Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno de Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráuzio Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Germano Barata charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germano Barata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Germano Barata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Türker Sonalp to make the kick off. Vila Ema Ravens's Dráuzio Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno de Andrade in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Nuno de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noroeste Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vila Ema Ravens's Severino Domenec got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noroeste Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Noroeste Paulista's Dinei Laguna in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Laguna got free with Dráuzio Souza in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 played minutes Noroeste Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Persson. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Noroeste Paulista walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
