In the 10th minute Rodrigo Junyent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hilario Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mieszko Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Nowak in the 15th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Bósforo FC's Delmar Checa threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teofilo Huly, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mieszko Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Gabrio in the 21st minute of the match. Mieszko Siekierski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Gabrio's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Hilario Gabrio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bósforo FC's Mieszko Siekierski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Hilario Gabrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mieszko Siekierski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of La Plata booed when Bósforo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Huly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bósforo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Plata the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Bósforo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Pes to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Bósforo FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Raymon. After a defensive mix-up in Bósforo FC's zone, Froilan Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Siekierski came out of the goal and Froilan Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mieszko Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Junyent, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Teofilo Huly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Gabrio in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mieszko Siekierski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 97 in the game by Hilario Gabrio from a close distance when the talented Mieszko Siekierski managed to make a qualified save. Bósforo FC's players were relieved. La Plata played a much better game than Bósforo FC and deserved their victory. The Bósforo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
