The audience was convinced that Vladimir Lenin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carter Gargano was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Cirilo Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Urbasa in the 17th minute of the match. Vladimir Lenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carter Gargano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimir Lenin ran back to his position shaking his head. Doping Positivo's Carter Gargano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Lenin in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Doping Positivo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dante Palban was slow to take the kick. During this time Azulgrana 81's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Azulgrana 81's corner Dante Palban fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carter Gargano quite easily take care of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Doping Positivo's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Lenin came free, but Carter Gargano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Doping Positivo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dante Palban was slow to take the kick. During this time Azulgrana 81's players had a chance to rest. Donato Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Dante Palban was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Doping Positivo's Honorio Mederi got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cirilo Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Urbasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carter Gargano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Lenin's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Urbasa to make the kick off. If Vladimir Lenin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Azulgrana 81's Vladimir Lenin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Gargano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80thth minute of the game Vladimir Lenin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doping Positivo's Carter Gargano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Vladimir Lenin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carter Gargano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 85th minute, Doping Positivo's Camilo Aznar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cirilo Peyo. Cirilo Peyo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. In the 89th minute Alejandro Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Gargano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carter Gargano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rauvoe in the 92nd minute of play.
