After 16 minutes, Rogelio Ekialde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Speed fc and the Sugaritas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Alberto Tonete made the kick off in the second half. Clemente Guerau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Fabio Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sugaritas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sugaritas FC's goalkeeper Dario Gallardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Clemente Guerau managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Sugaritas FC's Nicanor Blai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sugaritas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
