Psiu!'s Laércio Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Branco in the 6th minute of play. Sydney Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Magalhães having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Antônio Carlos Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, Psiu! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曲明强 to maneuver through the defense. Botinho FC's Marco Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Marco Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Psiu! the free kick. Marco Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Branco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laércio Sá saved Psiu! from getting behind. 曲明强 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Hílton Magalhães made a huge save. The corner led Psiu!'s Maicon Sousa to fire away a dangerous shot which Hílton Magalhães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Psiu!'s Sydney Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Gonçalves in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sydney Gonçalves in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Magalhães saved Botinho FC from getting behind. Mané Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Leopoldo Linares fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Psiu!'s protests and gave Leopoldo Linares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Leopoldo Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sydney Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Magalhães was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Branco in the 46th minute of play forced Psiu!'s goalkeeper Laércio Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Sydney Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Paulo Renato Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曲明强 in the 80th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Carvalho hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 曲明强 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mané Castro scored 1-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hílton Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 95 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Bezerra. After recieving a nice pass, Botinho FC's Ivo Carvalho tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
