The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Locomotiva grena's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dieguinho Amaral 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Dieguinho Amaral in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dorian Machado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Perivaldo Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cayetano Rito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Rito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perivaldo Paulista went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute Dieguinho Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dieguinho Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Machado having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's Yuri Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorian Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 53 minutes Paulopolis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Eduardo Vinhas who took care of the corner kick. Locomotiva grena's Luiz Eduardo Vinhas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cayetano Rito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ruy Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 minutes, Percival Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Locomotiva grena and the Paulopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After taking down the ball on Paulopolis's corner Maurício Motta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dorian Machado quite easily take care of the ball. Maurício Motta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorian Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Paulopolis booed when Locomotiva grena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieguinho Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Dieguinho Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paulopolis had won after a very even match.
