After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Sérgio Batista got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ioan Mavrodin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos got control of the ball when Kléber Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingars Miders in the 21st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Campos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Queirós. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Mavrodin in the 36th minute of the match. Kléber Queirós came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Campos could save by the left post. If Haciqämbär Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Ciro Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ioan Mavrodin hit a great ball. Oscar Saldanha was a little too slow when Ingars Miders got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 67th minute of the match, Ingars Miders tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oscar Saldanha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Elivélton Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivélton Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Macaco F.C. booed when Squadra Demarchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Macaco F.C.'s Ingars Miders dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Sílvio Alagoano hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Gualter Gulak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Gulak in the 76th minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Macaco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Lira. 84 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Lira came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Demarchi's zone, Ioan Mavrodin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal and Ioan Mavrodin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael da Rocha in the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Macaco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Gulak. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akis Remoundos during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Akis Remoundos hit a great ball. Macaco F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
