In the 9th minute Igor Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Squadra Demarchi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aesir FC FSCMZ:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Aesir FC FSCMZ. Carlos Eduardo Veiga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oscar Saldanha. 0-1. Igor Porto hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Claudinho Loyola got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Porto in the 32nd minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Aesir FC FSCMZ got a corner. Squadra Demarchi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Eduardo Veiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Eduardo Veiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aesir FC FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Squadra Demarchi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Eduardo Veiga took the corner. Oscar Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Porto's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Aesir FC FSCMZ's Osmar Marinho. But to his dismay, Osmar Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Oscar Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Porto's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Porto to make the kick off. Samuel Ribeiro hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match, Igor Porto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oscar Saldanha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manoel de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Oscar Saldanha made a huge save. In the 56th minute Dalmo de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo de Brito in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Osmar Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aesir FC FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Porto came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Porto struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Oscar Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aesir FC FSCMZ. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Porto in the 66th minute of play. When Carlos Eduardo Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aesir FC FSCMZ's protests and gave Carlos Eduardo Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Veiga. The crowd rose to their feet as Aesir FC FSCMZ's Manoel de Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Saldanha. That made the score 0-5 after 76 minutes of play. In the 81st minute Igor Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Porto in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Squadra Demarchi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Osmar Marinho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 92nd minute, Igor Porto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oscar Saldanha, passed just outside the right post. In the 93rd minute, Ciro Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Squadra Demarchi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aesir FC FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
