Zé Pedro Prestes was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraná Clube Brasil's players had a chance to rest. Academia B.F.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Arlindo Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Catarinense, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Paraná Clube Brasil's Serginho Munhoz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Pedro Carvalho got a throw-in 14 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frederico Pontes. Biagio Furino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primo Sans in the 16th minute of play. If Primo Sans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Biagio Furino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primo Sans in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Felipillo in the 25th minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiliam Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Furino having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Academia B.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Felipillo came free, but Vicente Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Primo Sans came free, but Biagio Furino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paraná Clube Brasil's zone, Primo Sans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Furino came out of the goal and Primo Sans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, Academia B.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primo Sans to maneuver through the defense. Arlindo Silveira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Vicente Catarinense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Primo Sans made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Primo Sans came free, but Biagio Furino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Juan Carlos Ramirez. In the 61st minute Primo Sans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Furino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primo Sans might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Furino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primo Sans ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primo Sans got free with Biagio Furino in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Academia B.F. made a substitution. João Francisco Fontes replaced Wiliam Carioca. Academia B.F.'s Michel Totti was substituted for Primo Sans. After 71 minutes of play, Academia B.F.'s Michel Totti made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Furino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Michel Totti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Furino was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. With a little luck, Paraná Clube Brasil's Biagio Furino got control of the ball when Michel Totti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Silveira in the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Totti got free with Biagio Furino in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michel Totti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Biagio Furino having to make a save. Michel Totti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Biagio Furino made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Academia B.F. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Paraná Clube Brasil side.
