The audience thought a goal was coming when Lui Vandré got free with Eduardo Baiano in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Lui Vandré recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduardo Baiano. Lui Vandré showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 30th minute of play. If Lui Vandré had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano got control of the ball when Lui Vandré tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Mendonça came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferris Stock's late challenge caught a Inter Gala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferris Stock helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pura Arte F.C's Ferris Stock got a free kick in the 45th minute. Lui Vandré sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lui Vandré's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Baiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pura Arte F.C from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Mendonça in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Heinz Stalder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Mager, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lui Vandré in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Baiano saved Inter Gala from getting behind. Rodrigo Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Mendonça in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Lui Vandré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lui Vandré recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Ribeiro came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Lui Vandré came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pura Arte F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Gala the free kick. A collision led to Pura Arte F.C getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Roberto-Carlos Da Silva hit a great ball. Pura Arte F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
