An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Rodrigues in the 6th minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Claudinho Duarte got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frederico Madureira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sílvio Laureano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiaguinho da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bart Claveau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiaguinho da Cunha was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. If Jacinto Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Rodrigues in the 14th minute of the match. Flávio Matos made a great header on Xapetuba Futebol Clube's corner, it was just that Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Mochila FC booed when Xapetuba Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mochila FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's Bart Claveau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiaguinho da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Rodrigues came free, but Frederico Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Adriano Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zafer Yavuzhan. In the 44th match minute, Xapetuba Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anfilogino Genovese got free with Tiaguinho da Cunha in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anfilogino Genovese in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiaguinho da Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A well-hit corner resulted in Sílvio Laureano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Rodrigues made a kick off. Adriano Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Frederico Madureira made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Adriano Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Frederico Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frederico Madureira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 72ndth minute of the game Adriano Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Adriano Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidney Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidney Vander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferhan Yörük fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho da Cunha having to interfere. Tiaguinho da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Laureano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bart Claveau in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiaguinho da Cunha saved Xapetuba Futebol Clube from getting behind. A collision led to Xapetuba Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Zafer Yavuzhan hit a great ball. Tiaguinho da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Genovese in the 88th minute of play. Tiaguinho da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Laureano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adriano Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 94 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Terra. In the 95th minute, Flávio Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
