Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adalberto Vianna started the match with the kick off. Tadeu Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adalberto Breckenfeld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco da Cunha in the 11th minute of play forced BOTAFOGO's goalkeeper Adalberto Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BOTAFOGO's Adalberto Vianna got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 21 played minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Joel Saldanha. After a rather tough play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Jeremias Linhares got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jeremias Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Jaanek Oese rounded Jumeuc Futebol Clube's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Adalberto Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco da Cunha in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Falcão Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco da Cunha in the 46th minute of play forced BOTAFOGO's goalkeeper Adalberto Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Tadeu Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco da Cunha to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in BOTAFOGO's zone, Francisco da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Francisco da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Francisco da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Jaanek Oese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Vianna struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Carlos Leclerc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOTAFOGO. Édouard Deloge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the game, one of BOTAFOGO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 69 minutes into the game, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Jeremias Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adalberto Breckenfeld made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Édouard Deloge might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Leclerc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Édouard Deloge ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Leclerc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Vianna in the 75th minute of play. Hamilton Luis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Francisco da Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Adalberto Breckenfeld however easily saved by the left post. BOTAFOGO's Jaanek Oese got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Édouard Deloge in the 84th minute of play forced Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Carlos Leclerc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Adalberto Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Leclerc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaanek Oese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Leclerc having to interfere. Carlos Leclerc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Édouard Deloge in the 92nd minute of play. Carlos Leclerc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jeremias Linhares hit a great ball. Adalberto Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Jumeuc Futebol Clube were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant BOTAFOGO side.
