Flavio Silviano made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Nilton Fontes sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Veiga came free, but Aloísio Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton Fontes in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Silviano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15thth minute of the game Thomas Pihlblad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petardo Futebol e Surf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thomas Pihlblad in the 16th minute. The corner ended in Thomas Pihlblad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu did a great save. Jefferson Donato took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloísio Abreu. Aloísio Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Thomas Pihlblad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petardo Futebol e Surf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Flavio Silviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Aloísio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Madureira in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Petardo Futebol e Surf got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Madureira. 37 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Donato came free, but Aloísio Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Nilton Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matadores FC and the Petardo Futebol e Surf players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Petardo Futebol e Surf were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilton Fontes made a kick off. Rogério Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Matadores FC's zone, Jefferson Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Abreu came out of the goal and Jefferson Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petardo Futebol e Surf's Flavio Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Fontes in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's Nilton Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Silviano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Matadores FC's Nilton Fontes to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Silviano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Petardo Futebol e Surf's Telmo Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jefferson Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petardo Futebol e Surf's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Flavio Silviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Gerson Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Pihlblad took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloísio Abreu. Aloísio Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 86th minute, Nilton Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jeremias Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petardo Futebol e Surf's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
