The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicky Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Betão Vargas took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicky Williamson. Nicky Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Bebeto de Azevedo threw the ball into play from the sideline. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Moisés Abraão quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Raimundo Bittencourt got a throw-in 13 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rafael Rosado. Nicky Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Vargas in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in OS IMPOSSIVEIS's zone, Betão Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicky Williamson came out of the goal and Betão Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Witold Gotfryd might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witold Gotfryd ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 23 in the game by Betão Vargas from a close distance when the talented Nicky Williamson managed to make a qualified save. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's players were relieved. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Dagoberto Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Gotfryd in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Betão Vargas. Witold Gotfryd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagoberto Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Witold Gotfryd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Nicky Williamson got control of the ball when Betão Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicky Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Vargas in the 42nd minute of play. Betão Vargas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Betão Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Witold Gotfryd made the kick off in the second half. Nicky Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Betão Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Vargas came free, but Nicky Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Witold Gotfryd dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dagoberto Veiga, 1-1. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Vito Nóbrega was substituted for Juan Alvarenga. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Antônio Carlos Tasso was substituted for Moisés Abraão. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Orxan Alişanov was substituted for Tião Messias. In the 67th minute Betão Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Dedé de Toledo was substituted for Witold Gotfryd. Betão Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Sandrinho Figueiredo was substituted for Rafael Rosado. In the 78th minute Giovanni Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Giovanni Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Nicky Williamson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Vargas in the 89th minute of play forced OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
