An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Zdrojewski in the 13th minute of play forced Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper Marc-Joel Kröger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Samuel Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Arne Engström in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marc-Joel Kröger saved Olympique Deleon from getting behind. Marc-Joel Kröger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Zdrojewski in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Olympique Deleon got a corner. Arsenal MGK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mats Hummels ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mats Hummels made a great header on Olympique Deleon's corner, it was just that Arsenal MGK's Frisco Gómez managed to reach the ball for a save. 45 minutes into the match, Stig-Arne Engström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc-Joel Kröger. Olympique Deleon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Arne Engström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Arsenal MGK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eurico Aguiar made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Arsenal MGK's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Ceresso came free, but Frisco Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During this time Arsenal MGK's players had a chance to rest. 70 minutes into the game, Arsenal MGK's Patryk Zgonina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc-Joel Kröger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Marcelo Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
