But to his dismay, Claudinho Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. US DI BESTI FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Renan Jacinto scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Macedo, making the score, 2-0. Alfredo Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of US DI BESTI FC booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fakir Štriker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Fernandes in the 18th minute of the match. With his leg Alfredo Macedo managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Ibirama Futebol Clube's Marcinho Barros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfredo Macedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcinho Barros went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the US DI BESTI FC defense, Marcinho Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Macedo. The US DI BESTI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Macedo should have stopped the shot. US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Braga in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Ezequiel Negri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfredo Macedo. The goal made the score 5-0. Marcinho Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Alfredo Macedo made a huge save. Renan Jacinto's late challenge caught a US DI BESTI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 40th play minute Marcinho Barros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfredo Macedo. 6-0. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Renan Jacinto got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Renan Jacinto off the ground. Renan Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Claudinho Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Claudinho Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. When Sérgio Braga came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ibirama Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Braga couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute Claudinho Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Negri in the 64th minute of play. Alfredo Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Fernandes in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Fernandes in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcinho Barros during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Marcinho Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathieu Ceulemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Ibirama Futebol Clube were the better team. Ibirama Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
