The corner led to 100 Chance's Reinaldo Almeida getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 20 minutes into the match, US DI BESTI FC's goalkeeper Rômulo de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Almeida. In the 34th minute, Reinaldo Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the US DI BESTI FC defense, Luís Fábio Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo de Barros. The US DI BESTI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo de Barros should have stopped the shot. Reinaldo Almeida who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Rômulo de Barros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rômulo de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho do Nascimento in the 43rd minute.

Luisão Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
