After 21 played minutes, XV de Piracicaba's Wen Yong Sha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in XV de Piracicaba reached it. Fonso Zotillo had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Emilio Lain's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Botelho in the 27th minute of play. Gonzalo Jurdan came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvinho Veiga could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's Gabriel Moscardó got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 35th minute, José Vítor Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Braga Junior FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.
