LUZ SS's Ciro Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jeremy Coulter sped through Desportivo Coala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guilherme Hermes. A collision led to LUZ SS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sidney Machado hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, LUZ SS's Ciro Guedes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the game, LUZ SS's Ciro Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Guedes in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Ciro Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 23rd minute Jeremy Coulter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Sidney Machado made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Hermes. Desportivo Coala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Jeremy Coulter took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Guilherme Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Coulter in the 40th minute of play. Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Machado in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match LUZ SS got a corner. Desportivo Coala's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kiatichai Nuntanamaneekul ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guilherme Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Cardozo was the one to do the kick off. Guilherme Hermes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ciro Guedes sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Ciro Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The LUZ SS fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when LUZ SS's Ciro Guedes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 61st minute, Jeremy Coulter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guilherme Hermes. The goal made the score 0-10. Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, LUZ SS's Kiatichai Nuntanamaneekul broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jeremy Coulter was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. LUZ SS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 68th minute, Sidney Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LUZ SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Ciro Guedes took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Guilherme Hermes to make any attempt to save it. Abel Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Desportivo Coala's Cauã Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilvan Medeiros hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Ciro Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Hermes. Desportivo Coala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. Thanks to some nice moves Ciro Guedes could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Guilherme Hermes however easily saved by the left post. Guilherme Hermes was a little too slow when Ciro Guedes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-14. With a little luck, Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes got control of the ball when Sidney Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guilherme Hermes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidney Machado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 92 minute of play. Guilherme Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy Coulter, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. LUZ SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
