After having played for 26 minutes, 邵耀兴 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL RIO CRVG's supporters crossed their fingers, but 邵耀兴 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kacper Tobiass was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, LUZ SS's goal looked a bit too open when 邵耀兴 came free, but Kacper Tobiass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes LUZ SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 邵耀兴 who took care of the corner kick. Jeremy Coulter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 谢永榕 having to interfere. If 邵耀兴 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score was now 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremy Coulter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Kacper Tobiass successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 65th minute REAL RIO CRVG were awarded a corner. 邵耀兴 went to the cornerflag to take it. Kacper Tobiass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Orhan Perk's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Franklin Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing REAL RIO CRVG would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
