Valdir Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Genílson Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With an all-out effort, Irreal Madrid's Nico Tasso threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Trigo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Genílson Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldinho Rocha went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Magno Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Irreal Madrid's Magno Cabral got a free kick in the 41st minute. A collision led to Irreal Madrid getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rodolfo Trigo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jânio Mendes was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Zonta charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Zonta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 minutes Irreal Madrid's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardinho Paes who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Osvaldinho Rocha got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Genílson Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Santana in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Encanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Uefons to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Secco might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nico Tasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Secco ran back to his position shaking his head. Genílson Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Secco in the 71st minute of play forced Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Alfredo Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nico Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Erasmo Hames kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Léo Travassos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encanto and the Irreal Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Léo Travassos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
