Genílson Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Irreal Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanny De Leger kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Encanto's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Trigo came free, but Nico Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Encanto's Nico Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Siqueira in the 22nd minute of play. Léo Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Genílson Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's Patrick Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nico Tasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nico Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Nico Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Secco in the 32nd minute of the match. Osvaldinho Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Genílson Simões when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Siqueira in the 38th minute of play forced Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magno Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If João Adolfo Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Magno Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Irreal Madrid's protests and gave Magno Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Irreal Madrid getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Magno Cabral hit a great ball. Osvaldinho Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Genílson Simões made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Encanto's Nico Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Encanto from getting a goal against them. Eusébio Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Tasso having to interfere. Nico Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jânio Mendes in the 63rd minute. Genílson Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Rocha's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When Encanto's Osvaldinho Rocha in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Irreal Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Osvaldinho Rocha sped through Irreal Madrid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genílson Simões. If Osvaldinho Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Genílson Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Santana in the 76th minute of play. Jânio Mendes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Nico Tasso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Genílson Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the Irreal Madrid defense, Osvaldinho Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genílson Simões. The Irreal Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genílson Simões should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, one of Irreal Madrid:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Irreal Madrid. Encanto's Nico Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Prestes in the 94th minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Irreal Madrid's Edson Prestes made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nico Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jânio Mendes in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Tasso saved Encanto from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Encanto had won after a very even match.
