The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hunor Adam during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Hunor Adam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gwidon Cwojdak came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwidon Cwojdak couldn't finish the play. Igor Mota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Bufi having to make a save. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Bandeca FC from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Luiz Guilherme Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hunor Adam took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arthur Bufi. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Vinícius Pinheiro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bandeca FC defense, 余永川 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Gamus. The Bandeca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Gamus should have stopped the shot. If 余永川 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, 余永川 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but 余永川 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Gamus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Igor Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Sandrinho Fontes in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Valeriu Toacsen. An unexpectedly hard shot by 余永川 in the 38th minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 余永川 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余永川 in the 40th minute of play. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gwidon Cwojdak to strike the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 余永川 in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Toacsen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Mota got free with Arthur Bufi in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by 余永川 in the 56th minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 余永川, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute 余永川 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Montenegro. If 余永川 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Olavo Quadros replaced Pedro Paulo Dante. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 余永川 in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Gamus saved Bandeca FC from getting behind. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 余永川 in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 余永川 in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Gamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute Gwidon Cwojdak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 余永川 scored 3-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Gamus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 余永川's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Gamus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandeca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余永川 in the 95th minute of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
