After some careless play in the Bandeca FC defense, Oswaldo Maranhense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Gamus. The Bandeca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Gamus should have stopped the shot. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak in the 9th minute of play. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 余永川 in the 12th minute of play. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 余永川, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Valeriu Toacsen kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Mota got free with Arthur Bufi in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute of the match Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a corner. Bandeca FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oswaldo Maranhense ran over to the corner to take the kick. 余永川 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Gamus having to make a save. Valeriu Toacsen made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Oswaldo Maranhense however managed to control. Guaberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 余永川 in the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 余永川 in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Gamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the game, one of Bandeca FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Mota in the 45th minute of play. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余永川 in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guaberto Gamus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 余永川's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 余永川 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Gamus having to make a save. 55 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when 余永川 came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Caio de Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandeca FC and the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when Bandeca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus got control of the ball when Gwidon Cwojdak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 minutes Bandeca FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oswaldo Maranhense who took care of the corner kick. 余永川 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guaberto Gamus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwidon Cwojdak in the 77th minute. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Bandeca FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oswaldo Maranhense took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Oswaldo Maranhense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guaberto Gamus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee ignored Bandeca FC's protests and gave Vinícius Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Pinheiro. In the 95thth minute of the game 余永川 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
