The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Semih Şentürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Novaes made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Filomeno De Putter sent off a good shot on target. When Gilberto da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triforce Super Soccer's protests and gave Gilberto da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semih Şentürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Anak Dewa kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Zane Wrigley in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Triforce Super Soccer's Jean-Pascal Croissant. 17 minutes into the match, Calopsita EC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno De Putter came free, but Ulysses Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Triforce Super Soccer were awarded a corner. Aldo Calçada went to the cornerflag to take it. Luiz Fábio Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno De Putter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Cristian Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anak Dewa in the 26th minute of the match. Edu Santos took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Salles. Cristian Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Filomeno De Putter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Triforce Super Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Kristian Aarstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Novaes having to interfere. Filomeno De Putter in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulysses Novaes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 48 minutes into the game, Filomeno De Putter lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Ulysses Novaes. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Semih Şentürk made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Triforce Super Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Passos. Semih Şentürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Triforce Super Soccer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Semih Şentürk scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Salles, making the score, 2-2. Ulysses Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno De Putter in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Kristian Aarstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triforce Super Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Aarstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Filomeno De Putter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Triforce Super Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 83 minutes into the game, Filomeno De Putter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Ulysses Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulysses Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Triforce Super Soccer booed when Calopsita EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nándor Gál didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Calçada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Triforce Super Soccer booed when Calopsita EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semih Şentürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Filomeno De Putter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Triforce Super Soccer's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
