But to his dismay, Geovânio Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's 俞云林 got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi got control of the ball when André Luiz Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovânio Proença to make the kick off. Marcus de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovânio Proença's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mineiros Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dráuzio Pinho was slow to take the kick. During this time BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's players had a chance to rest. In the 53rd match minute, Mineiros Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wallace Randall to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 俞云林 in the 55th minute of play forced Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Marcus de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's André Luiz Bezerra getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 80th minute, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Artem Savin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Artem Savin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mineiros Esporte Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Artem Savin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mineiros Esporte Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! When Elder Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mineiros Esporte Clube's protests and gave Elder Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS booed when Mineiros Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Marcus Arce sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus de Godoi skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Proença in the 93rd minute of play forced Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Marcus de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Geovânio Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus de Godoi was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
