In the 18th minute of the match Sipo EC got a corner. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Paulo Prata ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's Durval Marinho got control of the ball when Décio Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Bezerra came free, but Genílson Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Sipo EC's Valdir Arósio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Bezerra came free, but Genílson Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sipo EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dráuzio Pinho was slow to take the kick. During this time BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Rodolfo Porto got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Décio Messias got free with Durval Marinho in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Messias in the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Rodolfo Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldir Azevedo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After having played for 67 minutes, José Paulo Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sipo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's Genílson Gaspar threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Luiz Bezerra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Durval Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Genílson Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 俞云林 in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that 俞云林's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genílson Gaspar was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After 91 played minutes BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Arce. José Paulo Prata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Durval Marinho. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. André Luiz Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Genílson Gaspar made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Sipo EC's zone, André Luiz Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Gaspar came out of the goal and André Luiz Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Sipo EC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
