The corner led MDS Soccer Club's Ruy Duarte to fire away a dangerous shot which Válter Alagoano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Prata in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Severo came free, but Válter Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match MDS Soccer Club got a corner. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruy Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ruy Duarte made a great header on MDS Soccer Club's corner, it was just that Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Válter Alagoano managed to reach the ball for a save. MDS Soccer Club's Ruy Duarte was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Válter Alagoano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Válter Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Zheng Di Xi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Rosa in the 74th minute. Válter Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Mineiro in the 76th minute of play. Jeferson Faria hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Válter Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Mineiro in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Zé Simões got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If José Maria Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MDS Soccer Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
