The audience was convinced that Juan Manuel Olivera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Nogueira was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Emilio Posada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin in the 21st minute of play. Emilio Posada came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BARCELONA's Faustino Ferrando. But to his dismay, Faustino Ferrando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 42nd minute of the game João Vítor de Lima made a throw-in which Gaston Bitze played forward. João Vítor de Lima hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC BARCELONA's zone, Juan Manuel Olivera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Nogueira came out of the goal and Juan Manuel Olivera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- booed when FC BARCELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Bitze didn't get a good kick on the ball.

53 minutes into the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Emilio Posada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Ferrando. Juan Manuel Olivera might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ian Nogueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Manuel Olivera ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Claudinho Aparecido hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Manuel Olivera in the 58th minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Ian Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Emilio Posada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin in the 66th minute of play. Juan Manuel Olivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
