Jânio Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Manuel Olivera in the 32nd minute of play. Jordan Radojević hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Radojević didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio Furlan came out of the goal and Percy Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jânio Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Lech, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Percy Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Guará FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
