The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Marília AC's goal looked a bit too open when 顾升常 came free, but Jacinto Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy got control of the ball when Renatinho Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Édouard Mendy managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Marília AC's Renatinho Tavares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Niceto Frichoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Loureiro having to make a save. Niceto Frichoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Alexandre Loyola made a great header on Flamengo CIMZ's corner, it was just that Marília AC's Jacinto Loureiro managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Marília AC's Eriberto Lucas got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Flamengo CIMZ were awarded a corner. André Barros went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bernardino Marino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacinto Loureiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 32 minutes into the match, Marília AC's Bai Feng Ting sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Édouard Mendy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Renatinho Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Édouard Mendy was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When Niceto Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Flamengo CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Frichoso couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 顾升常 in the 38th minute of play forced Marília AC's goalkeeper Jacinto Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Flamengo CIMZ's 顾升常 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. André Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renatinho Tavares in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Édouard Mendy saved Flamengo CIMZ from getting behind. Abel Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Marília AC's Raúl Carioca got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Frichoso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Niceto Frichoso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Loureiro. The goal made the score 0-2. Nikos Koutsomitras struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Édouard Mendy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marília AC. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo CIMZ's zone, Renatinho Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal and Renatinho Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akın Seccac in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Tavares in the 62nd minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Marília AC got a corner. Flamengo CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abel Barros ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marília AC's Eriberto Lucas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Édouard Mendy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Tavares in the 68th minute of play. Marília AC made a substitution. Geronimo Ignatius replaced Eriberto Lucas. André Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Marília AC's zone, Niceto Frichoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Loureiro came out of the goal and Niceto Frichoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Paulão Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Marília AC got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Andrade. Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim de Andrade in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Marília AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Akın Seccac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Akın Seccac came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
