An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Cebo in the 13th minute of play forced Mota 2017's goalkeeper Torgeir Phan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Roger Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29thth minute of the game Roger Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético São Sebastião's Qu Feng Bin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Couto to strike the kick off in the second half. Torgeir Phan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mota 2017's Roger Couto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Qu Feng Bin. That made the score 3-2 after 94 minutes of play.
