Célio Albuquerque's late challenge caught a Mota 2017's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célio Albuquerque helped the player get up and apologised. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute of the match Mota 2017 got a corner. 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Léo Lopes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Roger Couto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 卡納里尼奧 FC's Édouard Mendy did a great save. Fabrício Brunovskis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário de Lara in the 27th minute of play forced 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roger Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Roger Couto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Édouard Mendy to make any attempt to save it. Eliseu Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Édouard Mendy having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mota 2017 defense, Ulysses de Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torgeir Phan. The Mota 2017 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torgeir Phan should have stopped the shot. Michel Alvarenga hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Léo Lopes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Eliseu Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Eliseu Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Édouard Mendy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when Mota 2017 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Senna in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Couto came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Couto took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mota 2017's Dedé Cardoso was substituted for Lucjan Ludwa. A collision led to Mota 2017 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jano Saraiva hit a great ball. Fabrício Brunovskis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Torgeir Phan made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mota 2017 had played much better football throughout.
