Fachtna Duggan started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Bruno Renan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natã Pereira. The crowd rose to their feet as A A Arizona's Natã Pereira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Renan. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. 16 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Fachtna Duggan came free, but Hu Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Renan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Vladimiro Eutor kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Fachtna Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hu Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fachtna Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mayhem Sharks's Bruno Renan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Mayhem Sharks from getting a goal against them. Bruno Renan made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Natã Pereira sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Semi Temizalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Natã Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Bruno Renan made a huge save. Osvaldo da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

A A Arizona made a substitution. Cláudio de Mendonça replaced Humberto Bastos. A A Arizona's Tiago Gabriel de Sousa was substituted for Vitinho do Valle. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lyuboslav Penev made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Cláudio de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Renan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fachtna Duggan got free with Hu Zhen Hong in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, A A Arizona's Celso Maciel got a free kick in the 61st minute. Bruno Renan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lyuboslav Penev in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Renan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lyuboslav Penev in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Renan saved Mayhem Sharks from getting behind. Hu Zhen Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fachtna Duggan in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Arcadio Valdés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mayhem Sharks's Luís Fabiano de Andrade was substituted for Fachtna Duggan. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcadio Valdés didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes, A A Arizona's Celso Maciel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Renan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A A Arizona reached it. In the 73rd minute Lyuboslav Penev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Renan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Renan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyuboslav Penev in the 83rd minute of the match. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Toscano in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Luís Fabiano de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, A A Arizona's Cláudio de Mendonça got a free kick in the 90th minute. A collision led to A A Arizona getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vladimiro Eutor hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Semi Temizalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A A Arizona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mayhem Sharks the free kick. In the 95th minute, Semi Temizalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hu Zhen Hong was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Luís Fabiano de Andrade capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Fabiano de Andrade really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.
