Arí Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Vitinho Gaspar made a huge save. In the 6th match minute, America FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 7thth minute of the game Daniel Kvarnström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but America FC's Gildo Furtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vitinho Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Dracena in the 9th minute of the match. Daniel Kvarnström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gildo Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, America FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Kvarnström came free, but Gildo Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Kvarnström in the 17th minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitinho Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute, Jonas Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The America FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Erik Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jonas Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. America FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gildo Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Kvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The corner ended in Jonas Dracena almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lidice's Vitinho Gaspar did a great save. Zé Carlos Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Volponi got free with Gildo Furtado in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnny Van Hoeyvelt came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gildo Furtado could save by the left post. In the 56th minute of the match Lidice got a corner. America FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Zé Carlos Moreno managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gildo Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Kvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gildo Furtado stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Kvarnström came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 60 minute. In the 63rd minute, Jonas Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The America FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Daniel Kvarnström scored 2-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gildo Furtado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Lidice's Daniel Kvarnström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gildo Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 75th minute, Dagoberto da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Furtado was a little too slow when Daniel Kvarnström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-4. Gildo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Kvarnström in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Arruda in the 90th minute of play forced Lidice's goalkeeper Vitinho Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The America FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lidice's performance. The match ended with a win for Lidice.
