Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Vila Zumbi got a freekick which was hit by Matías Souza. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Marchlewicz in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Trevisan saved Cambridge Esporte Clube from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cambridge Esporte Clube's zone, Ferdi Kadıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Trevisan came out of the goal and Ferdi Kadıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maciej Marchlewicz took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Trevisan. Sérgio Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Kléber Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Cambridge Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléber Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elivélton Aparecido got free with Antoni Beninda in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the game, Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Trevisan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some careless play in the Cambridge Esporte Clube defense, Maciej Marchlewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Trevisan. The Cambridge Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Trevisan should have stopped the shot. When Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cambridge Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Vila Zumbi's attentive Guilherme Vianna managed to snatch the ball when Christiano Mangueira made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Elivélton Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Beninda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Teodoro Dantas in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vila Zumbi's Guilherme Vianna. 34 minutes into the game, Maciej Marchlewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sérgio Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th match minute, Vila Zumbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Souza to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Mangueira made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vila Zumbi's Guilherme Vianna. Maciej Marchlewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Trevisan having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maciej Marchlewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Sérgio Trevisan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Vila Zumbi's Sérgio Trevisan threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kang Fan Xiang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute of the game Christiano Mangueira made a throw-in which Jailson Loyola played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Marchlewicz in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Trevisan saved Cambridge Esporte Clube from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Almir Salgado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio Trevisan. Almir Salgado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After 70 minutes, Kang Fan Xiang made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Cambridge Esporte Clube's Sérgio Trevisan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cambridge Esporte Clube's Sérgio Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cambridge Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 82 in the game by Almir Salgado from a close distance when the talented Sérgio Trevisan managed to make a qualified save. Cambridge Esporte Clube's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Salgado in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Trevisan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Almir Salgado notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Cambridge Esporte Clube's Sérgio Trevisan. Sérgio Trevisan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the game, Almir Salgado lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Sérgio Trevisan. The Vila Zumbi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vila Zumbi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
