Bernardo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Tasso in the 15th minute of play. Ata Necmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Ronaldo Nazário De Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ata Necmi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Nazário De Lima went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ata Necmi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ata Necmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Nazário De Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Acácio Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. When Giorgian Arrascaeta came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Warren FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgian Arrascaeta couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Warren FC - DMZ's Ata Necmi threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldo Nazário De Lima, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Tasso to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 71st minute of play forced BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goalkeeper Ata Necmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Giorgian Arrascaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgian Arrascaeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Váldson Vides ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Moreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Giorgian Arrascaeta came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ata Necmi could save by the left post. A collision led to Warren FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cleiton Duarte hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Nazário De Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ata Necmi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ata Necmi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7.
