After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Raimundo Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olinda FMZ DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Raymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílton Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Amílton Bezerra managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Olinda FMZ DMZ's Clemente Goiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Olinda FMZ DMZ's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crişan Junior in the 26th minute of play. Nunes FC's Amílton Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Nunes FC from getting a goal against them. Josepho Angelsø hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A hard shot 34 in the game by Clemente Goiano from a close distance when the talented Amílton Bezerra managed to make a qualified save. Nunes FC's players were relieved. 37 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Oskar Åkerberg came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Goiano couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Nunes FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Fantini. Nunes FC's Amílton Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Goiano in the 72nd minute of play. Olinda FMZ DMZ's Edwin van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Olinda FMZ DMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Pedro Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Olinda FMZ DMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nunes FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Nunes FC.
