SAO JOANENSE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Cosme in the 29th minute of play. SAO JOANENSE FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
