Hélder Melo hit a great ball. MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Paiva. Sérgio de Azevedo was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Maurinho Valadares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maurinho Valadares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some careless play in the MUSHIBA FC defense, Emanuel Paranaense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Augusto Quintal. The MUSHIBA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Augusto Quintal should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Laerte Arantes got a free kick in the 37th minute. Maurinho Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match, Maurinho Valadares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurinho Valadares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sérgio de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Natã Paiva struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Maurinho Valadares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Maurinho Valadares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio de Azevedo was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 94th minute Maurinho Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Claudinho Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the BMB IMOVEIS SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MUSHIBA FC.
