An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurino Villarprego in the 15th minute of play forced River LOA's goalkeeper Feliciano Duval to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Ennio Amadei put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Feliciano Duval. Fabrizio Greco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to River LOA getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Manolo Cetina hit a great ball. One couldn't see Agnaldo Araújo behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrizio Greco was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, River LOA's Fabrizio Greco got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Xacobo Santis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Rochet having to interfere. River LOA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio Greco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavinho Carvalho hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Fabrizio Greco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Manolo Cetina fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 73rd minute of the match Ennio Amadei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Duval skillfully saved the ball. Maurino Villarprego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Feliciano Duval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ariano Peacock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrizio Greco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the ⋆J⋆U⋆V⋆E⋆N⋆T⋆U⋆S⋆ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
