Su Xiang Sha was slow to take the kick. During this time Gladiadores Legionarios's players had a chance to rest. Efrain Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores Legionarios's zone, Gustavo Birila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Maria came out of the goal and Gustavo Birila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Dalkvist in the 29th minute of the match. Sergio Jerano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Niklas Dalkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Emiliano Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Maria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Birila's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Efrain Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gustavo Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gladiadores Legionarios made a substitution. Ambrosio Gasteiz replaced Generoso Cresitobalo. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niklas Dalkvist to make the kick off. Simon Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Van Damme having to interfere. Benedicto Pacho hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Gaitan in the 56th minute of play forced Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Birila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Efrain Maria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th minute, Niklas Dalkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Papillon AC made a substitution. Leonides Modestio replaced Sergio Jerano. Gustavo Birilas short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Efrain Maria to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Efrain Maria came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila. But to his dismay, Gustavo Birila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Medero Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Maria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gladiadores Legionarios's Efrain Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute, a hard, long distance shot from Su Xiang Sha hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Leonides Modestio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gustavo Birila hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Papillon AC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
