In the 16th minute, Big Babousa's Hector Bladi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abel Neron. Abel Neron yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Abel Neron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Elgueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Big Babousa booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro López didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Rick Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Big Babousa's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Sánchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Neron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron got control of the ball when Marcial Elgueta tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Claudio Millano hit a great ball. Svetlozar Karamihov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro López in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Marciano Koldobika got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Big Babousa booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Big Babousa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Elgueta in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Big Babousa were awarded a corner. Rick Sánchez went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristobal Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svetlozar Karamihov having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Big Babousa fully deserved thier win.
