A well-hit corner resulted in Gogo Tancredo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Línea Rotativa from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Mehmed Paşa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Narciso Frechoso. 15 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Pasqual came free, but Narciso Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Mehmed Paşa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez sarsfield's Narciso Frechoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cirilo Dimas charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Dimas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Velez sarsfield's Cirilo Dimas got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 33rd match minute, C.A. Línea Rotativa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Horado to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Rolando Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmed Paşa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Frechoso having to interfere. Cirilo Dimas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Mehmed Paşa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Narciso Frechoso. Velez sarsfield's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Pasqual to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goal looked a bit too open when Qin Kun Xi came free, but Anier Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Pasqual who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Narciso Frechoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Qin Kun Xi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Velez sarsfield's Walter Pico was substituted for Qin Kun Xi. Mehmed Paşa didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Ali Asım Kornes struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Narciso Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Línea Rotativa. Silverio Horado hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Línea Rotativa's Rolando Pasqual slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Frechoso. That made the score 0-2 after 87 minutes of play.
