Xencio Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Cidro in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Goizeder came free, but Xencio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falko Siegenthaler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xencio Millan having to interfere. Xencio Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Goizeder in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cardiff City FC's Everardo Joey got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alejandra's goalkeeper Maurinho Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alejandra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilberto Goizeder in the 26th minute. It was a well-played corner which Ruperto Tartalo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Julian Efraim came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Cardiff City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Efraim couldn't finish the play. Gilberto Goizeders short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Xencio Millan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maurinho Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Walme in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurinho Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Goizeder in the 40th minute of play. Maurinho Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Walme in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Celso Walme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th play minute Falko Siegenthaler came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xencio Millan. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angel Cidro to strike the kick off in the second half. Xencio Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Cidro in the 61st minute of play. Ruperto Tartalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xencio Millan having to make a save. Xencio Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Alejandra booed when Cardiff City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. M. Andik Faturrahman didn't get a good kick on the ball.
