When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Celso Walme sped through 1947 FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atıf Mertoğul. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huang Bing Ran in the 8th minute of play forced Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Xencio Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atıf Mertoğul having to interfere. Xencio Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huang Bing Ran in the 13th minute of play. When 1947 FC's Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Julian Efraim in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Atıf Mertoğul, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Atıf Mertoğul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cardiff City FC's Julian Efraim got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1947 FC's goalkeeper Atıf Mertoğul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Cardiff City FC's Julian Efraim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atıf Mertoğul. Atıf Mertoğul yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 42 played minutes Cardiff City FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Joey. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Nemesio Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1947 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Austin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xencio Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, 1947 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Efraim came free, but Atıf Mertoğul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cardiff City FC's Julian Efraim got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xencio Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Xavier in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Huang Bing Ran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1947 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Efraim in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atıf Mertoğul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in 1947 FC's zone, Julian Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atıf Mertoğul came out of the goal and Julian Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1947 FC's Jeremias Stephen was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Xavier. 1947 FC made a substitution. Melchor Xacintu replaced Jordan Poole. Xencio Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Artal in the 81st minute of play. Xencio Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huang Bing Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Julian Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Stephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cardiff City FC could leave the field as winners, despite 1947 FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
