Aurelio Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pero in the 8th minute of play. Epifanio Oliverio came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelio Nafarroa could save by the left post. In the 18th minute of the match ZAFIRO FC got a corner. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernesto Nafarroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ZAFIRO FC's Ernesto Nafarroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Nafarroa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aurelio Nafarroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Ponta in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute ZAFIRO FC were awarded a corner. Ernesto Nafarroa went to the cornerflag to take it. Marco Pero scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Nafarroa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Pero in the 30th minute of play forced ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goalkeeper Aurelio Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Pero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Nafarroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The throw-in from Maximo Argina in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Felix Cordarrell. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Oliverio got free with Aurelio Nafarroa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Gauargi to make the kick off. Aurelio Nafarroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Oliverio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Nafarroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Oliverio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Ernest Ponta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Nafarroa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Nafarroa. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 62nd minute Ernest Ponta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pero in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Daniel Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ booed when ZAFIRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Ponta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelio Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pero in the 75th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Marco Pero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Nafarroa. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Pero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Conrado Tello hit a great ball. There was no doubt that ZAFIRO FC were the better team. ZAFIRO FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
